A mother is facing reactions to breastfeeding her indecisive baby in a restaurant.
In a viral video posted on X from Liberacrat account, an unidentified woman is seen breastfeeding a young child while sitting in a restaurant, originally reported by Newsweek.
In the video, the mother is seen sitting on a long table, eating with other people. When her baby was hungry, she did what many other women would do in her situation – she fed them.
Multitasking mother is seemingly greedy by her son leaving her mother’s milk because she ordered food from the waiter without bypassing a beat.
The title of the joint video read: “This woman was receiving feedback to breastfeeding her baby (old kind) inside a restaurant on Mother’s Day, where other customers were also trying to enjoy their mother’s day and meals with loved ones.”
The person then prompted a debate by asking, “What do you think, did she deserve the reaction?”
The right to breastfeeding in public is protected by federal laws, including justice for the act of breast -feeding mothers and mothers’ acts friendly.
However, this did not stop people from having mixed reactions to this video.
“This is absolutely natural. She must have a blanket over her child, but honestly, I’ve seen worse today,” read the main comment.
“Sheesh, cover. Nothing bad in breastfeeding your baby, but it’s not right to tell everything,” someone commented.
“I’m sorry, maybe I’m old, but I don’t think women should be allowed to breastfeed in public,” replied another.
Many others came to protect the mother.
“If you are upset about a mother who breastfeeds her baby, then you may have some issues you are going through, talk to someone. That’s natural and as long as she is not doing herself doing it good, that’s good,” someone said.
“The chances are, you will not be home or in a private place, comfortable whenever your child becomes hungry. On the contrary, you can be in the middle of eating a meal, running a mistake or sitting in the park,” noted another.
Many people suggested that the woman be covered with a blanket as she fed her baby, but others accurately noticed that the covers could become a risk of drowning and block the mother from her baby’s best monitoring.
Others also asked if her son was too old to breastfeed.
“That’s an adult nurse,” someone jokes.
“Kid is big” replied another.
The child’s age was not determined, but according to the World Health Organization, up to one -third of the children are breastfed at the age of 2. There is no damage to breastfeeding for longer as long as the baby receives adequate food, usually provided by supplementary foods after the first six months of the baby.
Regardless of the facts, people are sure they will continue to milly for breastfeeding – but some mothers do not care if they cry for their nursing milk.
