This mother is not making an obstacle around – and she is sure not to swing in monkeys’ rods.
Amanda, a mother of three children passing @as.as.amothher on Instagram, has the Internet in a tizzy after posting a wrapping of herself peacefully on a park bench, coffee in hand, seeing her children play – but not playing with them, initially reported by parents.com.
Her attitude? A zinger with a word: “no”
The latest clip was a direct response to another video asking parents to get off their butter and sandbox with their children.
Amanda didn’t have it.
“I’m not saying never to intervene, play with her or support your Kiddo,” she explained in the title. “I’m just stressing here that it’s okay if you don’t want to be adults who scaling the playground.”
Translation? She is a mother, not a gym in the jungle.
The taking has sparked a war of war in the parenting arena, with some calling Amanda a champion of borders-others labeling it a shortage at rest.
Amanda sees the playground as “a space where they have to experience freedom, explore, interact and engage with other children without their parents breathing down their neck.”
