A more selling author has shared a staggering story about how a popular hair loss remedy led to breaking the sexual function of her ex-husband-and their marriage.
Speaking recently in the “moral medicine” podcast, Thammika Songkaeo said she noticed that they had no love for talking while they were still meeting.
Her boyfriend then told her that she was because he had received the propeci-name of the Finasteride brand, which is commonly used to treat hair loss to men. One of the possible side effects is sexual dysfunction.
At the time, she thought it was just a temporary issue – or that it would be just a disrupted problem.
“I did not realize that it was permanent, serious [and] Destructive, ”she said.
They married and stayed together for seven years, with songs persuading her ex to take a drug for erectile dysfunction to improve intimacy.
Coupleifi greeted a girl, but Songkaeo’s loneliness deteriorated.
After all, she decided to leave the hungry marriage of sex.
Noting that her ex -II was a wonderful partner outside the bedroom, they remained great friends – and Songkaeo continued to write a novel about her experience, “Stamford Hospital”, which became a bestseller number 1 in Amazon Singapore.
Now, it is trying to spread the word not only about how post-finasteride syndrome (PFS)-a condition in which one experiences severe side effects after stopping the use of Finasteride -prek its victims, but also those they want.
“The depth of loneliness I felt was up to the point I, myself, was becoming suicidal or I had suicidal thoughts,” Songkaeo said.
“I had to call the phone line of suicides because it became so bad for me – and, usually, I’m a very happy person.”
It questions the ethics of distributing a drug that can have such potentially devastating consequences.
“Finasteride has the ability to distribute a person so much to become this domino effect … there is only so much destruction around him – and feels like unnecessary destruction,” she said.
Songkaeo was interviewed by Podcast Mark Millich host, who made titles earlier this year, telling Wall Street Journal that he experienced poor side effects after buying Finasteride.
Some of its side effects included anxiety, dizziness and clumsy speech. His sexual driving also sat down, and his genitals shrinked and changed the shape.
Millich previously interviewed a 28-year-old man who reported a coaster of side effects due to PFS, including sexual dysfunction, insomnia, severe weight and muscle loss, skin rashes and pelvic pain.
“Monthdo months, I feel like having a new side effect,” the man said. “Really has really changed my life completely.”
In April, the US Food and Drug Administration issued a warning of current Finasterid products distributed by telecommunications companies, citing some reports of adverse events such as erectile dysfunction, anxiety, suicidal idea, brain fog, depression, fatigue, decreased pain and testicular pain.
