The struggle of the knife of fork and the knife.
A Viral Tiktok video showing an American woman trying the uuropean food path has aroused an international food war – and critics say her table behavior is honest barbarians.
Tiktok Amy Gordy @amygordy1 user posted a now-waist video of himself trying the so-called dining style œContinental â € “he where you do not play music chairs with your tools.
Gordy, channeling her internal post Emily Post, did her best to hold the fork in her left hand and knife to her right – unlike the typical American cutting technique, dropping the knife, then changing the hands of the fork like it “as culinary Squar Dance.
But her continental makeover quickly left the rails.
Viewers cannot believe their eyes – or control it.
â € œ this has rotated me, I never thought about how I used cutlery, â € wrote a confused dinner.
Another viewer stated, as the clip was reprinted on X (once Twitter): â € œAmericans are so primitive for world leaders !!! Keep your knife in your right hand! It is your dinner sword. Viewing the Americans who eat is worse than nails down a blackboard.â €
Video – which reached more than 2 million views and thousands of comments – would not simply turn on the label on the internet.
She also caused a family dispute because Gordy’s husband is heard saying in the background that his wife holding both dishes while he is talking to him is “rude”.
This had Tiktok users who tightened their pearls – and their cutlery.
â € œHim saying that you are making it wrong and that it is rude to keep your cutlery when you speak, a user wrote in disbelief.
Another accumulated: â € œam do you miss something ??!? Food properly is rude in America ??
â € œ… Dude sounds like a part of the work. People talk with pots in their hands all the time, has never been rude, twaed tweed @thisisvertrying, who also reprinted the original Gordy video.

Meanwhile, some critics revealed the shape of Gordy’s fork and knife, stressing that it would crash hands from standard European composition.
â € œ € ™ is not the way â € ˜european, â € ™ € ™ is the right way, â € a heated commentator.
Others were more forgiving, insisting there is no way to eat “to eat” as long as you will not start mashed potatoes throughout the room.
Still, for some Europeans, seeing Americans engraved dinner like this is an Olympic event remains a manifestation of horror.
“I am confused, so how do Americans use a cutlery?
Knife to meet you, indeed.
And while changing Gordyâ tools promoted the pot online, the British as William Hanson label expert is likely to argue that it is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Faux after.
Hanson – called the main coach of Britain’s labeling – recently the amazing viewers insisting there is only one proper way to eat a banana: with a knife and fork.
“No, we don’t take it and strip it as a primate,” he said in a now-viral tutorial on Instagram.
â € œTead, we use a knife and fork. First, going from one end, cut it, then cut the other edge, turning the knife on its side. Then mark the skin, peel back and eat as so.â €
Its fruit -driven formality would not end there.
As reported earlier by The Post, in a continuation, Hanson demonstrated the way â € œorrectâ € to eat grapes-using scissors to slide a smaller band on a plate, of course.
At least he was not looking for a cutlery.
