Popular cereal brand attracts favorite fragrances of fans from shelves

If you have noticed that some of your favorite Cheerios fragrances have suddenly disappeared from the shelves to the grocery store – you are not imagining things.

The beloved brand of General Mills cereal has decided to stop the production of three popular fragrances: Honey Nut Cheerios Medley Crunch, Chocolate Butter Cheerios and Honey Nut Cheerios Minis, according to an Instagram post from @The_celealqueen.

While Cheerios Medley Medley Medley Crunch and Chocolate Chany Butter Cheerios are OG taste – introduced for the first time in 2013 and 2017, Honey Nut Cheerios Minis was realized two years ago.

The post reached the brand for comment. So far, it is unclear why these flavors are drawn, especially as each seems to have a continuation.

Considering grains is a staple of the morning in American households – 12% of Americans eat it every day, 18% enjoy a bowl three or four times a week and 23% enjoy once or twice a week, according to the CivicScence vote – many morning food fans are disappointed for this sad cheerios news.

Some shared their thoughts in the R/Cereal Forum in Reddit:

“I don’t think I’ve actually seen Honey Nut Cheerios Medley Crunch for more than a year. But the loss of chocolate cheeric butter is a bigger shock – I didn’t buy it as often as I should have,” one user wrote.

“Why would TF cancel the chocolate peanut butter?” Another disappointed customer asked with anger.

“RIP Medley Crunch,” says another comment.

Others took posting on Instagram @The_celealqueen to share how annoying they are.

“WhatTTTTTTT I loved minis !!!!” Read a comment.

“Awww expect these flavors look great that I won’t be around !!” shared someone else.

“I am so sad with chocolate chocolate with peanut butter Cheerios were my favorites. 😟 It’s always sold or low action in the stores I buy. I can’t imagine it is due to low sales. I wonder if they are thinking of making it in the variety of proteins. Regular cheerios will probably be another.

The silver lining here is that despite these fragrances that sound and probably enjoy delicious, they were most likely not the healthiest options.

It turns out that these days, many morning cereals have more fat, sugar and sodium – and less nutritional value, according to a new study.

The amount of sugar in a lot of cereal increased by almost 11% – and it is reported that a bowl of breakfast exceeds 45% of the recommended daily border of the American Heart Association for children.
